I’m Aya, the artist behind Moon & Milk Dolls.
I make reborn dolls for people who appreciate the artistry and the experience of holding them. Expression, texture and the balance of a doll’s weight all matter to me. Moon & Milk brings that approach together with accessories and practical guidance for collectors.
What shapes my work
I’m autistic, and sensory detail is a big part of how I experience things. That carries into my doll-making. I pay attention to how a head rests, how the weight is distributed and how the different textures feel together.
It’s also why I understand that collectors have particular preferences. What feels right to one person won’t suit everyone. I want you to be able to explore my work, ask about the details that matter to you and choose a doll you’ll enjoy having in your collection.
Know the doll you’re choosing
Buying a reborn online is a considered purchase. You need to know who made it, what it’s made from and whether the photographs show the doll you’ll receive.
The photographs in a doll’s listing show that individual doll, with condition notes to help you make your choice. My past dolls stay on the site as examples of my work, clearly marked as adopted.
If you’d like to clarify a detail about a doll’s sculpt, body, hair, weighting or paperwork, please ask before buying. Those details matter, whether this is your first reborn or you’ve collected for years.
